I’m at the Holiday Inn Express Pacifica, in a beautiful room overlooking the ocean. Bill has a contradance workshop all weekend in San Francisco, and the city was planning on paving our street, so we decided to get a room here for the weekend. They postponed paving the street at the last minute, but we had already booked this room. When they get around to paving it for real I’m planning on coming back here, it’s just perfect.
Went for a walk down by the water earlier, and since then I’ve been playing with my laptop and puttering around the room. It’s actually a “mini-suite”, because of the couch and electric fireplace and in-room jacuzzi. And its nice and big.
I keep stopping to watch the sunlight on the water.
Bill should be leaving his dance workshop around now and sweeping me off to dinner.
